Advantages of the Berlin Exhibition Grounds

1. A total indoor display area of 160,000 m² is available in 26 interconnected exhibition halls. Visitors can tour the trade events without being exposed to inclement weather. The exhibition area can be consolidated for one large event or easily divided into separate zones for several trade shows running simultaneously. A versatile guidance system directs crowds to the appropriate areas.

2. Arriving visitors can be directed to the different main entrances: For large-scale events, crowds are diverted to the south, north and east entrance areas.

3. Virtually all halls can be accessed at ground level by delivery vehicles with up to 8 t axle loads. This practically eliminates the need for freight elevators - which saves exhibitors time and money.

4. Raised floors and conduit networks in the halls used for massive displays ensure low-cost connections to water, electricity and digital communications lines at all points throughout the halls. This facilitates uncomplicated, versatile stand planning.

5. Over 2,400 m of rail tracks and the relevant infrastructure are available on the exhibition grounds for presenting rail vehicles.

6. The "Sommergarten" - a 10,000 m² centrally-located, landscaped open area, is directly accessible from all exhibition hall passageways.

7. Exhibitor service center, restaurants and catering, offices and related services are all conveniently located for exhibitors.

8. The Berlin Exhibition Grounds are directly connected to the ICC Berlin, Europe's largest congress centre ensuring ideal conditions for combining trade shows with congress events and conventions.

9. Ideal connections to one of the world's best public transport systems ensures quick, comfortable and stress-free arrival. For example, the S-Bahn (rapid rail transit) departs every 10 minutes from Berlin´s central station to the rapid rail station "Messe Süd". Travel time: 15 minutes.

10. Centrally-located in Berlin, the exhibition grounds are directly connected via autobahn to the city's three international airports. Parking for a total of 12,000 vehicles is available including 2,000 spaces for exhibitor parking directly on the exhibition grounds. Taxi stands are located at all entrances.
