Media Accreditation ITB Asia 2009: Rules & Guidelines

All journalists are strongly encouraged to register online well in advance of ITB Asia commencing. This will greatly reduce time spent at the media registration counter at Suntec.

For onsite media accreditation, the following rules will be adhered to:

Before giving out a media pass to attend ITB Asia, Messe Berlin (Singapore) shall request proof of the applicant's relevant journalistic and editorial status. Either of the two following items may be submitted as proof on site at Suntec Singapore media registration counter:

  • 1. An official Press card issued by a recognized (for example, national) association of journalists.
  • 2. A business (name) card showing the applicant's journalism position.

Free media passes onsite will be granted based on the following guidelines:

Only media with an editorial designation will be allowed in. Messe Berlin Singapore reserves the right to refuse entrance without stating reasons. Any journalist admitted to ITB Asia who is subsequently found to be soliciting for business or selling advertising will be asked to leave. Non-editorial media representatives can gain full access to ITB Asia by pre-registering online or registering onsite as a trade visitor. Trade visitor status entitles you access to all official ITB Asia areas and events for three days, 21-23 October, 2009, inclusive.

Thank you for helping us make ITB Asia 2009 a success.
