The world’s largest trade fair for transport technology opens tomorrow, Tuesday, in Berlin with record numbers of exhibitors and the largest display area ever. 1,912 exhibitors from 41 countries will be presenting their innovative products and services on the Exhibition Grounds. With an overall display area of 150,000 square metres in the halls and on the open air grounds the InnoTrans 2008 is the largest ever.

Michał Sierszyński, Design Engineer der Solaris Bus & Coach S.A. Is presenting the hybrid bus Solaris Urbino 18 Hybrid. It’s the first serial hybrid bus in Europe which uses the Hybrid Technology. Because of the combination of a diesel-engine with two electric motors it is possible to save between 15 and 30 percent of fuel.
