The capital has plenty of entertainment after the fair. For example, there is a choice of some 6,000 restaurants and bars. The beer gardens and beach cafés along Berlin’s lakes and rivers are ideal places for enjoying the last days of summer. For those who prefer to dance, Berlin has countless clubs that are just right for international visitors. rates for IFA visitors.

Constructed using 400 tonnes of steel, the Funkturm
attains a height of 126 metres. It is accessible from the Exhibition
Grounds, and visitors can take a trip to the top every day between 10
a.m. and 11 p.m., except Mondays and Tuesdays, when the opening times
are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The lift reaches the viewing platform in just 33
seconds.During the IFA 2009 the Funkturm will be celebrating the 83rd anniversary of its construction.
