Your publicity work for the ITB Berlin can be used to inform the daily and trade press about your involvement in this major event. In advance of the fair your press releases can be targeted to daily newspapers, the trade press and business publications. The trade press in particular will be interested in receiving early notification of the activities you are planning to hold during the ITB Berlin. The business media tends to focus on reports about specific companies and the industry in general.

We can support your efforts in the planning and implementation of your press work for the fair. If you are preparing a press mailing we can also advise you. We can supplement your mailing list with details of journalists specializing in travel and business affairs and editorial departments that will be filing reports from Berlin.

As usual, the ITB Berlin Media Centre will be located in hall 5.3 and 6.3.

Before making the decision to hold a press conference you should consider whether the occasion or the subject justifies the effort. Having decided to go ahead, we will gladly help you with the arrangements. If required we can provide a room together with all the technical equipment. Press kits
We recommend preparing press kits to distribute to media representatives who visit your stand or attend your press conference or meet-the-press events. These press kits should contain general details about your company and about your products and services. Past experience has shown that the media are also interested in business data about your company’s performance.

Pigeon-holes are available at our media centre during the fair where you can deposit your press material. Items deposited here can include documents for the press, supplemented by current photographs, as a way of reaching all those media representatives who are unable to call at your stand in person.
