Build IT Berlin is based on two key aspects: Trade show participation and accompanying events in conjunction with the professional sideline programme. This effective presentation platform has been consistently used by exhibitors, government ministries, industry associations, institutions and research groups since 2001. The spectrum of themes has been expanded further each year. Professional events focusing on financial controlling and geo-information systems (GIS) were introduced in 2004. Prompted by unprecedented success and a growing number of participants, The Ventasoft company organized the third Build IT Berlin practical conference focusing on "AVA Online Tendering."

The Berlin Exhibition Grounds and the ICC Berlin offer modern facilities for conferences and professional events.

Smaller rooms for meetings, press conferences, VIP receptions, workshops or seminars are available in the direct vicinity of the exhibition halls.
The professional sideline programme and trade show are directly linked. Conferences and seminars should be scheduled for half-day sessions so ensure participants have time to visit the exhibition.

Action stage in the exhibition hall

The Exhibitor Forum has become a regular feature of the Build IT Berlin trade fair and offers an informative, free daily programme focusing on the latest industry themes. Presented at centre stage amid the trade show action, the programme is organized by exhibitors, participating trade associations and institutions. The fully equipped action stage (seating for approx. 50 persons, stage, podium, lectern, projector, screen, Internet access, laptop) can be arranged for presentations, lectures, discussion forums and multimedia events.
