The international ecomove congress will report on the current status of alternative drive systems and mobility solutions with best-practice examples from around the world. Key themes include 

• Political approach: sustainable mobility in city and confederation
• Technological trends: Lithium batteries, hydrogen fuel cell
• Alternative energy concepts: A new look at bio-fuel  

Top referents are presenting new trends and technologies of sustainable mobility.

Some of the highlights:

• Hans-Peter Wandt (Toyota Europe) presents first results of Toyota’s Plug-In Hybrid drives, the latest and innovative electric car concept.
• Dr. Werner Zittel (Ludwig-Bölkow-Systemtechnik) shows trends in sustainable energy and hydrogen fuel cell development.  
• Robert Stüssi, President of World Electric Vehicle Association (WEVA) reports new electric and hybrid drive concepts.
