The Software Trade Fair in Metal Trade
Metal as a building material is becoming ever more interesting for clients, architects and planners. On the one hand, steel is very durable, and on the other hand, in its function as a frame, it allows to adapt the use of a building to the necessities of our fast changing times. Aluminium with its high weather resistance, high tensile strength and little weight is used e.g. for frontages, staircases, roofing and eaves, windows and doors. Metal has come to be used everywhere: be it modern window fronts or staircases, smart frontages or solar architecture – all this would not be feasible without metal construction.
Computer work is gaining ever more in importance in the metal industry, too. Partially, modern architecture would hardly be possible without data processing. But it is not only in planning and construction where EDP is increasingly being used: besides the programmes which are generally interesting for the building industry (commercial software, controlling etc.), there is also software which addresses exclusively or mainly the metal industry, e.g. steel construction, staircases. The latest developments and trends in the software industry will be presented at metall IT.
The triple event
metall IT is a trade fair which will provide to its visitors an overview of the entire industry in conjunction with bautec, the International Trade Fair for Building and Construction Technology, Build IT Berlin, IT and Communication Trade Fair for the Construction Sector, and SolarEnergy, the World Fair for Renewable Energies.
The supporting programme
Apart from product presentation, knowledge transfer will be in focus. Therefore, a trade conference of approx. 1 ½ hours is planned to take place in the Marshall-Haus in the morning and in the afternoon in cooperation with the supporters of metall IT. This ensures that the trade fair and the expert supporting programme are closely connected.
The range of offers
The range of products and services offered at metall IT comprises software of the metal building industry – construction, structural planning, statics, project management, office organisation and management programmes, operational construction management, construction work, building crafts, AVA, literature as well as information and consultancy by associations, organisations and institutes. The visitors
Being a trade fair, metall IT addresses all stakeholders in the metal trade sector – planners, architects, building engineers, metal craftsmen, but also journalists, associations and political representatives.
