Important Dates

Date of the Trade Fair	16 to 20 February 2010

Disassembly	22 February until 24.00 hrs

Since 1 January 2008, the Environmental Zone “Umweltzone” applies in Berlin.
The Umweltzone covers the area within the S-Bahn ring, the light railway line encircling central Berlin. Access to this area by vehicle is only allowed with a valid Low Emissions Sticker. The beginning of the Environmental Zone is marked by traffic signs. The Southern part of the express way within the S-Bahn ring is not part of the Environmental Zone and is freely accessible since the motorway ring also serves as a by-pass of the Zone. This also includes the exit to the fair grounds. If you drive into the city centre by car you will need a Low Emissions Sticker.

Traffic Guide
Please observe the entry and exit rules during assembly and disassembly as well as during the trade fair and inform your fair constructors and carriers. Details will be available from the Download Centre from January 2010.

Smoking ban since 1 January 2008
Due to changes in the law, there is a strict smoking ban throughout the fair grounds (including the ICC Berlin) from 1 January 2008. Therefore, we kindly ask you to smoke only in the indicated areas. As an exhibitor of Build IT Berlin 2010 we would also ask you to inform your contracting partners about the Non-Smokers Protection Act in effect since 1 January 2008.
