belektro 2012 – Berlin trade show focuses on more intelligent energy use

As Germany's leading electrical engineering trade exhibition for the new federal states and the Berlin-Brandenburg economic region, belektro 2012 focuses on a variety of trendsetting themes including building automation, energy management, smart metering, safety, comfort, efficiency and innovative energy technologies.

With its direct connection to government ministries, embassies, industry associations and media, Berlin provides a perfect framework. The city guarantees up-to-date modernity and serves as a gateway to nearby markets in Eastern Europe.

belektro 2012 – Driving force for research and training

With its many universities and technical colleges, Berlin is a center of science and research. In view of the growing demand for qualified technical personnel in the industrial and skilled trades sectors, belektro 2012 will focus on coordinating the activities of science, research and training institutes. In conjunction with the LIGHT DIALOGUE hall forum, an ideas competition for students will be held once again in 2012. The "Factory Street" is a special presentation focusing on the needs and requirements in the electrical engineering trades. The professional supporting program features a series of presentations, workshops and discussions focusing on industry trends, challenges and future solutions. The main objective is to promote dialogue and exchange of information between manufacturers, the skilled trades, planners, architects, designers, researchers, students and trainees.
